Support and feedback

Help during the public alpha.

CHAOS is public alpha software and we would rather be accurate than reassuring. This page says exactly what support exists today, what does not, and how to make a problem report useful when the channel opens.

A support contact is still being finalised

There is no verified support mailbox or help desk connected to CHAOS yet, so this page deliberately does not show an address. Publishing one we cannot answer would be worse than saying so. When a verified contact route exists, it will appear here and in your account page first.

If something goes wrong

Keep the report next to the work

The most reliable place to record a problem right now is inside the project it happened in. Tell your intelligence what went wrong in the same session — it becomes part of the project's permanent memory, dated and attached to the work, and it is still there when a support channel opens.

  • Which project you were working in, and what you asked it to do.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • Whether anything appeared to be lost, and where you noticed it.
  • Roughly when it happened, so the event can be located.

What the product already tells you

Nothing is silently dropped

When a request to your intelligence fails, the failed turn is not written into your project history. Retry it and continue.

Your project is the record

Memory, research, objectives and learning stay in the project. A failed session does not remove what earlier ones established.

Limits are stated, not hidden

Alpha access keeps 2 projects alive at a time. If a project cannot be created, the reason is shown to you directly.

Account problems

If you cannot sign in because your email was never confirmed, the sign-in screen can send the confirmation email again. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot password" link on the same screen.
